Virus free chat rooms

Data can exist in a variety of forms — as numbers or text on pieces of paper, as bits and bytes stored in electronic memory, or as facts stored in a person's mind.Since the mid-1900s, people have used the word data to mean computer information that is transmitted or stored.

This is probably a 2 part question but my questions involve both situations.1) I think POF uses a chat client called Userplane to start one on one chats. I realize common sense says NOT to do the following: Click on links someone gives you Don't open attachments Don't download files someone wants to give you Don't give out personal info or even an email address ... Yes people should have an active up-to-date antivirus program and use spyware removal programs. Are they ok to use other than maybe seeing something you don't want to see at the moment? 2) What about web-based chat rooms completely separate from POF? The only way to be 100% safe is to remove the internet connection from the PC.If you are at an office or shared network, you can ask the network administrator to run a scan across the network looking for misconfigured or infected devices.Data is distinct pieces of information, usually formatted in a special way.To connect to our chat room you will need to configure your client with the following information: If you do not have a IRC client or prefer to not use one to connect to our chat rooms you can use our web based java client that will run from your browser window. If you are on a personal connection, like at home, you can run an anti-virus scan on your device to make sure it is not infected with malware.
